HOW
DO I...
OBTAIN
TELEPHONE ADVICE?
01322 223600
If you need advice from a doctor or nurse, the best time to ring is between 11.00am -
12 noon.
There are various options on our auto-attendant menu to enable you to select the most appropriate person to deal with your query.
HOW DO I...
MAKE AN APPOINTMENT?
01322 222998
All surgeries are by appointment and we prefer you to stay with your own doctor,
if possible. Please check in with the receptionist when you arrive for your appointment. Do ensure that you allow sufficient time for car parking and checking in to enable the doctor to run on time.
Sick children will always be seen as soon as possible if brought to the surgery
(often quicker than a home visit) after ringing to inform the receptionist of
the problem.
If you are unable to attend, please cancel your appointment so that it
can be offered to another patient.
HOW
DO I...
OBTAIN
A HOME VISIT?
01322 223600
Telephone before 10.30am, if possible; this will help the doctors plan their rounds
and avoid unnecessary delay. Visits are for those who are housebound or too ill
to attend surgery. If you are unsure about the urgency of the problem, please
ask to speak to the doctor. A GP can see four patients at the surgery in the time
it takes to do one home visit. Please try and attend the surgery if possible.

OBTAIN
TEST RESULTS?
When the doctor arranges for you to have a pathology test please telephone the
surgery after 2.00pm to request the results. Tests can often take up to a week,
but x-ray results may take two weeks.
