Antenatal
Clinic
Monday 12.30 - 4.00pm with our community midwife.
Doctors will also provide antenatal care by appointment in surgery time.
Cervical Smears
Available on request with a doctor or nurse. Kent, Greenwich and Bexley Health
Authorities run a computerised recall programme for smears.
Diabetic Clinic
Tuesday 1.30 - 2.30pm with Dr Short/Dr Scott.
Family Planning
We offer a full range of services - ask to see the doctor or nurse.
Women's Health
Dr Mohan runs a clinic on alternate Thursday afternoons for coil insertions and
checks.
Baby Clinic
Tuesday 1.00 - 2.00pm with Dr Spensley.
For routine development checks.
Minor Operations
We can perform a range of procedures at the Health Centre. Please see your doctor
for an assessment first. Dr Jones runs a liquid nitrogen clinic once a month
for the treament of minor skin lesions and warts/verruccas.
Phlebotomy Clinic
Our health care assistant runs clinics every morning between 8.30 and 10.20am.
The earlier appointments are for fasting patients. You will need to make sure that you have a completed blood form. Please ring reception for an appointment.
Health Checks
These are available to all patients as necessary.
Counsellor
Counselling is available with our team of qualified counsellors.
Diet And Weight
Advice is available from our nurses on request.
Flu Vaccination
Every autumn by appointment.
Pneumococcal
Vaccination
All year round in nurses’ clinic.
Addiction Counsellor
For smoking, alcohol or drug help and advice - confidential counselling is available
on request.
Smoking Cessation
Held in nurses’ clinic.
Surgical
Clinic
We have a visiting GP Surgeon who attends monthly for more complicated minor
operations. Please see your own doctor first.
Dietitian
Fortnightly clinic with qualified dietitian for more specialist advice.
